Presentation Guidelines
Guidelines for Poster Presenters
Preparation of Your Poster
- Use the same title as submitted with your abstract.
- Confine your presentation to the information provided in your submitted abstract. However, any new results available since submission should also be included.
Poster Dimensions
- Posters must be in portrait format. Use a font size that is easily readable from 1.5 m distance.
- Posters must be printed prior to the event. Please bring your poster with you in hard copy, as no printing facilities will be available at the venue.
- Maximum size: A0 portrait (84.1 cm width × 118.9 cm length). Recommended size: 110 cm × 80 cm.
- Posters printed in landscape format or larger than the allocated display board may not be accepted.
Displaying Your Poster
- Posters will be displayed in the Poster Hall on the first floor of the Congress Master Center (near the Auditorium and Hall 1).
- Access to the Poster Hall begins at 09:30 on Tuesday, 29 September. Posters must be in place by the first coffee break.
- Posters should remain on display for the duration of the Conference.
- Each poster will be assigned a display number. Authors must place their poster only on the designated board.
- Fixing materials will be provided at the registration desk or available in the Poster Hall. Posters printed on canvas or heavy material are discouraged, as they may be too heavy for the boards.
- Presenters are responsible for hanging and removing their posters. Posters not collected by the end of the final day will be discarded.
Flyers and Handouts
- You may bring A4 copies of your poster to share with interested delegates.
- Please bring your own envelopes or sticky tape if you wish to display A4 copies, as these will not be provided.
Preparing for the Conference
- Poster authors will receive an email with their poster registration number, which corresponds to the board number in the Poster Hall.
- Presenting author must pay the full appropriate fee. The abstract will only be presented and included in the scientific program of the 16th EWDA Conference 2026 if the presenting author has completed the registration process and paid the registration fee in full before July 31, 2026.
- Authors will also be asked to submit an electronic PDF version of their poster.
- All digital posters will be uploaded to the Conference web app (Google Drive), accessible to registered attendees throughout the event.
- Further instructions for uploading digital posters will be sent by email.
