Registration desk

Registration desk will be located in the foyer in front of the lecture halls, on the 1st floor of the venue and will be open during the following hours:

Exhibition

The Exhibition will be located in front of the conference rooms.

Name badges

At Registration desk, you will receive your conference kit and name badge. A name badge is required for admittance to all official conference sessions and events according to the type of registration. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the Registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed eg. passport or any photo ID. It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge. If you are prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes should be notified in writing to Conference Secretariat. A handling fee of 20 € will be charged for each name change. Lost badges will be replaced for registered participants presenting an ID, at a replacement fee of 20 €.

Certificate of attendance

A certificate of attendance will be provided to all registered attendants after the conference on the email.

Proceedings

Proceedings will be available for downloading at the official website of the EWDA2026 Conference from September 28, 2026.

Guest attendance policy

All event activities (including conference sessions, lunch, coffee breaks, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Coffee breaks

Coffee stations will be provided in Exhibition and Poster area and will be served according to the official EWDA2026 program.

Lunch

Lunch will be served according to the official EWDA2026 program at the Restaurant of the Congress Centre Master.

Visa Requirements

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact local Serbian Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required and to find out if visa is needed. Any expenses incurred in relation to the visa application are the sole responsibility of the participants.

Official Letter of Invitation

Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or EWDA2026 to provide any financial assistance.
Furthermore, following the guidelines stipulated by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are able to provide official invitation letters to participants only when the following conditions are met:

Participants have an accepted abstract
Conference Registration Fee has been paid
Participants can be verified to represent an internationally recognized organisation.

Telephone Code

To call a foreign country from Novi Sad, please dial the international code 00, then the country area code, the city area code (without 0) and, finally, the telephone number of the subscriber.
Important notice: Serbia is not in EU, therefore there is a roaming rate for cell phones as soon as you enter Serbia. Don’t forget to turn off your mobile data to save yourself from unnecessary expenses!

Time Zone

The time zone in Serbia is Central European Time (CET) (UTC plus 1 hour).

Currency

The Serbian currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD). Credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, and ATMs are widely available in downtown Novi Sad. You can use Visa, Visa Electron, Plus, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro and Cirrus branded cards to withdraw money from an ATM. Serbian ATMs require 4-digit pin codes.

Electricity

As in most cities of continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Novi Sad is 220 V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

WiFi

The free WiFi is provided in all working areas of the conference.

Weather in in September / October in Novi Sad

Late September and early October in Novi Sad typically bring mild and pleasant autumn weather. Daytime temperatures usually range from around 15°C to 22°C (59°F–72°F), while evenings can be cooler. The period is generally comfortable for travel and outdoor activities, with a mix of sunny days and occasional light rain, so layering, a light jacket and un umbrella are recommended.

Insurance and Liability
The Conference organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
